Suspended on PhoenixRising

It is no problem to post HIV-denieing stuff on PhoenixRising, or other scientific Bullshit – but call bullshit bullshit, and you get suspended. Oh, well.

Thankfully I am not the only one appalled by this:

"I have personally seen people die horrible painful deaths from being infected with HIV that has progressed to AIDs -- riddled with cancer, unable to breath from pneumonia, unable to eat, in massive pain -- all of these people had one thing in common -- HIV infection. Funding into HIV does not need to be halted. People with HIV and AIDS deserve every penny spent on their illness. Yes, a ton more money needs to be spent on ME research but they are different illnesses. I have spent precious time and energy raising money for children in Africa who have no parents because they died of AIDS because they had no access to ARV's. Just because you say, cfsboston, that HIV does not cause AIDS doesn't mean it is true. You would probably get a better response if you left AIDS/HIV out of the equation and dealt with the lack of funding surrounding ME. I, personally, think more funding for ME is necessary, but why at the expense of other illnesses.

There is no such thing as CFS/AIDS, it is a made-up word game on your part and it is hurtful to those here who are gay or have lost gay friends or others to AIDS. Having visited the AIDS blanket with a gay friend made me clear on the magnitude of loss and human suffering as a result of HIV infections worldwide. And the loss of dear gay friends to HIV infection made that personal for me. It would be nice if you decided to post your repeated HIV denialism content to parts of the forum that were intentionally created for off-topic content."
